Doctors for Kids Baby of the Year

Doctors for Kids is looking for cute baby pictures! Please bring in a favorite picture of your baby for our DFK baby contest. A winner will be picked annually and will be displayed on our web site. Simply bring the picture into the Doctors for Kids office for submission. You will need to sign a photographic waiver release, which is available at our front desk and also under forms, right here.

It was a hard choice with all the cute pictures we received, but Ellis stole our hearts with his gorgeous smile and big soulful eyes!!

We received so many beautiful smiles – Thank you!! It was almost impossible to choose, but it was Anna who stole our hearts with her “joyful” smile!!

Art Contest

Creative expression is beneficial to a child’s development. As a way of encouraging artistic talents, Doctors for Kids will have a quarterly art contest. To submit your child’s artwork, be it a short story, a drawing, poetry or any other artistic medium, simply bring the piece into the Doctors for Kids office. The winner will be posted on the web site and will win a small prize.

Earth's Song

Earth is made of song
of music then melody,
falling from the sky
And rippling free.
It flows through all rivers,
Blows throughout the plains.
It grows beneath the dirt and ground
Till it breaks from within.
Music breaks from the ground
Rustling through the rivers, plains and seas
The earth is rippling with music and melody.
The ground is shaking, I am too.
The earth is ringing with song
Loud and clear, Elegant and astounding!
From the light quick breeze to birds and bees,
split’s the sound of music then melody!
